Begin with the document you need
Create a document from the available article, report, presentation, or conference templates. Paper Studio is designed for research papers, mathematical notes, and technical documents rather than a blank-code-only workflow.
Requires macOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. The interface is in English. Set up the document, then build it with the visual tools or edit the LaTeX directly whenever that is the fastest path for your work.
Presentation creates a simple PDF slide document using the article class. The conference starter uses IEEEtran. These starters do not imply support for every presentation package or publisher template.
Use intent-driven tools
The Structure, Text, and Symbols tools help you add titles, sections, equations, symbols, tables, citations, and bibliography entries. They produce compact, readable LaTeX; the complete source remains available for direct editing.
- Use the table generator for structured tables.
- Manage citations and bibliography entries inside the document workflow.
- Keep figures, references, and multi-file document content together in the project.
Compile and inspect locally
Paper Studio compiles with the included Noctis TeX Engine and shows the real PDF next to your work. References and classic BibTeX citations resolve in the same document workflow, with diagnostics when the source needs attention.
No account, server, command-line tool, or separate TeX installation is required for this local workflow.
Run Compile after editing to refresh the PDF. The preview shows the last compilation, and PDF out of date means the source has changed since that result. Saving the document does not by itself update the PDF.
